The Release of Ney Wamitego is an Issue - Zitto Kabwe

The politician and active member of parliament from ACT Wazelendo, Hon. Zitto Zuberi Kabwe, has spoken on the release of Bongo flavor artist, Ney Wamitego, who was recently arrested after releasing a song allegedly insulting President John Magufuli. Zitto stated this today at the British Council Auditorium during the Breakfast Debate.

"The arrest of popular Tanzanian rapper Nay Wa Mitego to him was not an issue to keep alarming on," Zitto said. "The issue is to let him go." If he was allegedly convicted, then the responsible authorities should undergo a thorough review to adhere to legal procedures and reach the conclusion that he is not liable.
